The Literacy & Learning Center is thrilled to announce Larry Powell as its Volunteer of the Year for the 2024-25 school year! This honor recognizes and celebrates Larry's exceptional dedication and profound impact on our students and the TL&LC community.
Larry consistently goes above and beyond in his commitment to our students. He takes the time to get to know each child truly, demonstrating remarkable empathy and compassion in every interaction. His genuine care fosters a supportive and nurturing environment, which is invaluable to our learners.
Beyond his daily engagement with after-school students, Larry has also played a pivotal role in helping several students access crucial resources and support beyond TL&LC’s offerings, ensuring they have every opportunity to thrive.
