Summer Programs
Summer Camps

Craft Camp
June 8 - 12
12 - 3 pm
3 - 5th Grade
Craft Camp offers an engaging space for children to dive into imaginative art-making and hands-on activities. Guided by Kara Long, this session encourages campers to explore different materials and techniques while building confidence in their creativity and enjoying the process of making something all their own.

Craft Camp, led by Carolyn Middlebrooks, is a fun andcreative experience where young artists can explore different crafts!Kids can make colorful projects and express their creativity in a hands-on, playful environment.

Adventure Camp

1st - 4th Grade
Join Kara Long and Carolyn Middlebrooks for an action-packed Adventure Camp! Kids will explore Highlands on small walking field trips, play exciting outdoor games, and enjoy a day full of fun. Please make sure to pack a lunch.

Join TLL&LC for Tinker Time for Tots — engaging workshops tailored for preschoolers and their parents!
Organized and led by Carolyn Middlebrooks, Pre-K Director, the aim is to empower parents by demonstrating inventive ways to utilize everyday household items for their children’s educational benefit. Sessions showcase practical activities that parents can seamlessly incorporate into their daily routines, fostering a rich learning environment at home.
Carolyn will begin each day by reading a book followed by related activities, and free play time.
No registration required; please drop in.

One-on-one tutoring is offered during after-school, typically twice a week for one hour for students of any age in
any subject.
Tutoring sessions can be arranged on an as-needed basis during the summer.

Children in grades K - 3 meet Monday through Friday for homework assistance and engaging educational activities. These activities are available in part thanks to partnerships with other local nonprofits, including The Bascom, Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust, Highlands Biological Foundation, International Friendship Center, and Hudson Library.
