Summer Camps
For Rising K - 8th Graders
STEM CAMP
with MC Phillips
Rising 1st - 3rd Graders
June 24 - 28
9 am - 12 pm
This camp offers a dynamic learning experience focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through hands-on activities, interactive experiments, and creative challenges, students will unleash their curiosity and problem-solving skills. Join us for a week of fun-filled exploration and endless possibilities in the world of STEM!
CRAFT CAMP
with Kara Long
Rising 3rd - 6th Graders
June 24 - 28
1 - 4 pm
This camp will will get your child’s creative juices flowing! During these four days, your child will experiment with tie dye, weaving, rock painting, and other fun things! The goal is to encourage creative expression and build confidence in your child by allowing them to discover new crafts and build friendships all while doing art!
ADVENTURE CAMP

Campers will engage in a dynamic blend of educational and adventure activities, fostering curiosity and exploration. From interactive science experiments to outdoor nature walks, each day promises exciting learning opportunities in a safe and supervised environment.
GETTING READY for KINDERGARTEN

Rising Kindergarteners

9 am - 12 pm
Tailored for young learners preparing to enter kindergarten, this camp focuses on essential skills such as taking turns, raising hands to speak, transitioning from parents, and mastering table and carpet etiquette. With engaging activities centered around colors, shapes, and basic academic concepts, our experienced instructors guide campers in a supportive environment to cultivate good student habits while fostering independence and enthusiasm for learning.
PLEASE NOTE: It will be necessary to create a free account to register your child for summer camp.
Snacks will be provided.

For Toddlers and Caretakers
Tinker Time for Tots: Patterns
Friday, May 17

A series of engaging workshops aiming to empower parents by demonstrating inventive ways to utilize everyday household items for their children's educational benefit.

Youth
After-School Enrichment
(K - 3rd Grade After-School)
Children in grades K - 3 meet Monday through Thursday for homework assistance and engaging educational activities. These activities are available in part thanks to partnerships with other local nonprofits, including The Bascom, Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust, Highlands Biological Foundation, International Friendship Center, and Hudson Library.
Homework Helpers
(4th - 12th Grade After-School)
Students in grades 4-8 meet Monday through Thursday for assistance with homework, papers, research, and overall comprehension of the student's curriculum.
Reading Bootcamp
(Phonics Intervention After-School)
Individual and small group phonics intervention is available for students with critical literacy need on Fridays
during after-school.
Individual Tutoring
(K - 12th Grade After-School)
One-on-one tutoring is offered during after-school, typically twice a week for one hour for students of any age in
any subject.
GED
(High School Equivalency)
Self-paced online preparatory courses are offered to help students pass their GED test and to better prepare them for the workforce. Follow-up equivalency test fees for area testing site are also covered.
