A Magical Highlands Christmas Parade and Party

We are still smiling after a truly wonderful time at the Highlands Christmas Parade on December 6! Our festive, gingerbread-themed float was a hit, and it was a joy to see so many of our students and families waving from the sidewalks.

The highlight of the event was our "mission of the heart": spreading the love of literacy throughout the community. We are thrilled to share that we handed out over 1,200 free books to children along the parade route! Watching the excitement on their faces as they received a new story to take home is precisely why we love this tradition. Thank you to everyone who came out to support us and make the holiday season a little brighter through the gift of reading.

The fun didn't stop at the finish line, either. Our post-parade gingerbread party was a huge hit! It was wonderful to see so many students and their families gathered together to build creative gingerbread houses, enjoy festive snacks, and warm up with plenty of hot chocolate. Thank you to everyone who came out to support us and make the holiday season a little brighter through the gift of reading and community.
