Get ready to practice your Carolina Shag—the Swingin' Medallions are coming back to town! This year’s event marks a "triple shot of my baby’s love," as it is the third time this legendary group has performed for The Literacy & Learning Center’s spring fundraiser. Mark your calendars for an unforgettable evening of toe-tapping tunes and community spirit on Sunday, July 12, at The Farm at Old Edwards.
A Legacy of High-Octane Energy
For over 60 years, The Swingin' Medallions have captivated audiences across generations with their timeless, horn-driven American beach music. Founded in 1962, the group’s signature high-octane performances continue to delight fans of all ages. Their most iconic hit, "Double Shot of My Baby’s Love," remains a classic, with over 1.5 million copies sold since its 1966 release.
Following that massive success, the band notched other notable hits like "She Drives Me Out of My Mind" (1967) and "Hey, Hey Baby" (1969), cementing their place in music history through legendary labels like Capitol and Smash Records.
