The Literacy & Learning Center Continues its Popular Book Giveaway for Town Halloween Festival

The Literacy & Learning Center will host its annual book giveaway at this year’s Town of Highlands Halloween event, continuing a beloved tradition that pairs holiday excitement with the joy of reading. Local families and young trick-or-treaters visiting The Center’s table can look forward to picking out a brand-new book to take home alongside their other seasonal treats.

This effort is made possible through the continued generous sponsorship of Mountaintop Rotary, whose support enables TL&LC to hand out roughly 800 books during the evening's festivities. The partnership highlights a shared commitment to strengthening local education and ensuring every child in the community has easy access to engaging reading material.

Organizers are eager to recreate the magic of past festivals, where costumed kids and parents alike were surprised to discover a book waiting for them instead of standard candy.
