TL&LC After-School Students of the Year

The Literacy & Learning Center is proud to announce Galilea Rojas and Gauge Hennequin as the 2025 After-School program’s Students of the Year.
With so many incredible students enrolled in the program, selecting only two honorees is always difficult. Gauge Hennequin was selected for his natural leadership and willingness to help those around him. He treats his peers and adults with kindness and respect, and his thoughtful actions have made him a role model within the program.
Galilea Rojas was chosen for her kindness, strong friendships, and exceptional work ethic. She approaches both academics and friendships with care and commitment, setting a powerful example for her fellow students.
The Literacy & Learning Center is incredibly proud of Galilea and Gauge and is deeply thankful for their positive impact on the after-school program, which has been felt by everyone in the TL&LC community.
